Snake is one of the animal which I don't want to see.
They don't blink, they have long tongue, they don't have legs...
However, as you know, snake have some special function in their bodies.
They can adjust their lower jaw's size.
They can eat not only rats but also mammals.
That' unique ability.
I don't like snake.
But my husband's twelve animal signs of the Chinese zodiac is snake.
(My type is bird.)
In Japan, some old peole use wallet which made of snake skin.
Because some Japanese believe that the snake skin is one of the lucky items about money.
Of course, my relatives used wallets that was yellow color.
Interesting point, Yuko. Snakes are very dangerous to humans but they do not hunt humans. More than 50,000 people a year are killed by snakes every year, but nearly always by accident when people get in their way. I don't feel afraid of snakes, they don't bother me - but then again, I have never had one under my bed.......
